Welcome to The Lawrence North High School Percussion Department!

Whether you want to be a professional performer, educator, trapeze artist or just want to perform for sold-out crowds at Lucas Oil Stadium, Lawrence North High School is the place for you. LN has around 50 percussionists participating at the high school level. Lawrence Township typically has around 225 percussion students involved in percussion from grades 7-12. Because of the large size of the percussion program in the district, we are able to provide an incredible number of performance opportunities with nationally-acclaimed ensembles, yet all percussion students receive lots of individual attention.

LN Percussionists have the opportunity to participate in the district's Bands of America Grand National Finalist Marching Pride of Lawrence Township, Indiana Percussion Association's 2016 State Champion Lawrence Township Winter Percussion Group, LN Classical Percussion Ensemble, 3 Concert Bands, ISSMA State Finalist Full Symphony Orchestra, Show Choir, 2 Jazz Bands, Basketball Pep Band (voted best in Indiana) and a plethora of chamber ensembles.

If you have a great attitude, work ethic and would like to join a world class performing arts program, please don't hesitate to email or call. I look forward to working with you!
